Our Story
Historic Times is a subsidiary of Deacon & Son, a high quality jeweller based in Swindon, Wiltshire. Historic Times was created to design and produce handmade timepieces.
We would like to thank Deacons long standing customers, Alan and Jane Archer, owners of the young racehorse – Freddie (Fast Art).
The Archer’s were shown the Liddington carriage clock in 2019, a clock that was specially created to celebrate Deacons 170th anniversary.
Alan and Jane commissioned us to create an original painting of Freddie to appear on the side panels of a bespoke carriage clock.
The design process led us to create a dial featuring the Archer’s racing colours which then inspired us to produce the mobile phone cases, mugs, water bottles, iPad folios and folio notebooks. We then went on to create a separate, trading company – My Racing Colours Limited.
